The topics will include the differences between ultra-Orthodoxy, modern Orthodoxy, Conservative, Reconstructionist, and Reform Judaism; recent demographic studies and trends affecting the American Jewish community; the “Jewish Continuity” movement, new organizations, and the effort to bring about a renaissance in Jewish life; the American-Jewish relationship with Israel and internal disagreements within the American Jewish community; emerging patterns and trends in Jewish identity; and the rise of social entrepreneurship in the Jewish community.
